Vidya Prabodhini College of Commerce, Education, Computer and Management, Parvari, welcomed new batch of B.A.-B.Ed. students. Shri. Dnyaneshwar P. Pednekar, an eminent educationist, administrator and Joint Secretary of Prabodhan Education Society, was the Chief Guest for the function. The programme began with meditation, followed by paying obeisance to Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of learning with the Saraswati Vandana, sung by Ms. Prachi Shetgaonkar, the Student of Third Year B.A.B.Ed. Dr. M.R.Patil, Principal, of Vidya Prabodhini College welcomed the august gathering. Along with, he also emphasized salient features of the integrated B.A-B.Ed. Graduate degree programme, highlighting the various facilities the college offered to students and also introduced the Chief Guest.

The Chief Guest, Shri. Dnyaneshwar P. Pednekar, Joint Secretary of Prabodhan Education Society, and chief architect of integrated B.A.-B.Ed. programme, told B.A.B.Ed. Students that as a teacher trainee, they have to develop habit of reading and writing and acquire skills and qualities required to become an active teacher. He welcomed all the Students to a noble profession. He said that the College is known for “Sanskarmaya Shikshan” and that is a hallmark of Vidya Prabodhini College. He said that Teachers and Students should remember two things Mantra and Tantra, Mantra: Excellence Everywhere Every time and 4 important Tantras’ are Utmost Discipline, Hard Work, Regularity and Moulding Character.
