Quality Council of India


  • Vidya Prabodhini College of Commerce, Education, Computer and Management has applied for Accreditation to Quality Council of India under NCTE. Mandatory Affidavit System is uploaded to TeachR Portal. The College has Paid Rs.1,73,400/- for its Registration.

MoU


  • Vidya Prabodhini College of Commerce, Education, Computer and Management has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science (autonomous), Margao-Goa on 14th October, 2016.

  • Vidya Prabodhini College of Commerce, Education, Computer and Management has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mahavir Mahavidyalaya Kolhapur Maharashtra on 28th March, 2017.


Study Center


Vidya Prabodhini College of Commerce, Education, Computer and Management has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Emerge Vocational Skills Private Limited, Parvari-Goa on IGNOU Study Centre.
The College is recognized as IGNOU Study Centre. The programmes viz B.A., B.Com. and BPP are started. Students Enrolled for Programmes are as follows :

    Special Achievements


    1. Mast. Shabaz Makandar (Bcom) represented Goa Wrestling Team at the 36th Boys Free Style, Greco Roman Style Junior National Wrestling Championship held at Patna, Bihar from 20th to 23rd January 2017, organised by Wrestling Federation of India in association with Bihar Wrestling Association.

    2. Mast. Nehal Parab, from SYBCom ‘A’ represented Goa State at the 27th Senior National Tennis Ball Cricket Championship for Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Memorial Trophy , organised by Jammu & Kashmir Tennis Ball Cricket Association, in collaboration with J & K Sports Council, held at M.A. Stadium, Parade Ground, Jammu from 10th to 13th February 2017. The Team secured 2nd Runners Up Place at the said tournament.

    3. Vidya Prabodhini College won Championship-2017-18 in Men’s Weightlifting under Goa University, Goa on 8th August 2017.

    Gold Medals


    1. Mast. Prajwal shetty from TYBCom B continued his classic performance at Inter Collegiate Athletics Competition. He secured 2 Gold Medals for the college by setting New Meet Records in both 200 M & 400 M Rave for Men at the said competition. The event was held on 15th, 16th and 17th of December 2016 at SAG Athletic Stadium, Bambolim, Goa.

    2. Mast. Prajwal Shetty bagged 6 Gold one each in 100 Mtr, 200 Mtr, 400 M, Discuss Throw, Long Jump & High Jump event and one Silver Medal inJavelin Throw, at the 1st GOY Olympia Championship 2017, organized by Youths of Goa held at Peddem Sports Complex, Mapusa, Goa from 5th and 8th January, 2017

    3. Girls Tug of War Team also secured Gold Medal at the 1st GOY Olympia Championship 2017, organized by Youths of Goa held at Peddem Sports Complex, Mapusa, Goa from 5th and 8th January, 2017. Krishan Kumar Kumawat bagged Bronze Medal in Judo at the same competition.

    4. Miss. Anjoom Dileep Sawant Dessai, from BABEd, participated in 17th RSFI National Rope Skipping Championship 2017 organised by Rope Skipping Federation of India, and hosted by Rope Skipping Association of Maharashtra held at Divisional Sports Complex, Panchavati – Nasik from 20th to 22nd January 2017. She Secured 5 Gold Medals.

    2. Mast. Hirave Paresh & Mast. Vasant Narulkar secured Gold Medal in men’s Weight lifting under Goa University on 8th August 2017

    3. Mast. Kisan Patil and Mast. Harshad Shirodkar secured Silver Medal in men’s Weight lifting under Goa University on 8th August 2017

    4. Miss. Sneha Hasbe Secured Silver Medal Women’s Taekwondo under Goa University on 27th September, 2017

    2. Mast. Sachin Malik & Mast. Krishan Kumar Secured two Bronze Medals in men’s Judo Competition under Goa University on 1st August 2017

    3. Miss. Jeenisha Khorjuvekar, Miss. Sabiya Dukandar, Miss. Reshma Jamadar & Miss. Neha Lokre secured Bronze Medal in women’s Judo under Goa University on 2nd August, 2017


    Cultural Activites


    • The college has won First Place at all Goa Intercollegiate One Act Play Competition ‘Masquerade’ 2017 held on 28th September, 2017 at Nirmala Institute of Education, Sponsored by UGC New Delhi.
    • The college has won First Place along with 10 individual prizes like, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Writer, Best Music etc. at inter-collegiate one act play competition held at Kala Academy on 29th March, 2017.
    • The teaching faculty members won the Team Championship at All Goa Inter-Collegiate Competition for college teachers (Guru Srujan) held in March, 2017 at G.V.M’s College Ponda
    • The team of the college won First Place at intercollegiate patriotic group singing competition held on 12th August, 2017 at Damodar College, Margao.

    N.S.S. Activities


    • The NSS unit of the college, teaching and non-teaching staff, students and parents have contributed Rupees 1,44,200 towards expenses for a liver disease treatment of Ms. Akshara Mangaonkar, daughter of Shri. Shivram Mangaonkar and a cheque for the same was handed over to Mr. Shivram Mangaonkar on 22nd August, 2017.
